       Welcome to TeacherJanet.com!  While other children dreamed of one day becoming a doctor, lawyer or president I felt a stronger calling, that of becoming a Mother. Through my years in the field of education and my time spent as a mother I have gained information and ideas that I look forward to passing on to you.
      I am the mother of four children ranging in age from 12 to 20. With a degree in Child Development, as well as additional training in family relations, I have had the joy of working with children and their parents for over 28 years. I have presented my parenting thoughts in the classroom as well as through the world of radio and TV.
      I now come to you by way of the World Wide Web with much excitement and ready to share my passion for parenting.  My ideas are endless and I look forward to sharing them with you. Need parenting ideas, support or just someone to say " Oh my children went through that too, just drop me a note.
