Text Box:

Welcome!  While other children dreamed of one day becoming a doctor, lawyer or president I felt a stronger calling, that of becoming a Mother. Through my years in the field of education and my time spent as a mother I have gained information and ideas that I look forward to passing on to you.
I am the mother of four children ranging in age from 10 to 18. With a degree in Child Development, as well as additional training in family relations, I have had the joy of working with children and their parents for over 28 years. I have presented my parenting thoughts in the classroom as well as through the world of radio and TV. Watch for my next appearance on KATU's AM Northwest!
I now come to you by way of the World Wide Web with much excitement and ready to share my passion for parenting. So sit back and soak up some information and inspiration.
Preview parenting thoughts to ponder from my Parenting 101 page, or find an idea for some creative kids crafts on the Family Fun page. Learn how to keep your children protected under the many suggestions at Stay Safe. Looking for fast and friendly recipes for supper check out Good Food. Feel free to send me questions, comments or your favorite parenting advice. My ideas are endless so visit me often. I hope to show you that it only takes a moment to make a memory that may last a lifetime.

With Warm Thoughts of Giggling Children
and Fun Filled Family Time,

Text Box: It’s time to give credit where credit is due. Although I jokingly say “It’s All about me”, really it’s all about my parents. Growing up in a family that was taught; strong woman survive, and that you are never too old to make incredible choices, has given me more than words can express. Life has taught our family many things, many of which we hope to pass on, but none more important than understanding the true meaning of family
To my Dad, Mom and Sisters…..I love you more than you will ever know.

                                         Janet
