     Entering my 29th year of teaching, my heart is overflowing with excitement and my head is filled with ideas.  I am reminded every day that the mind of a child  is full of potential and eager to learn. I have also learned never to underestimate their ability. I love teaching children through creative hands-on activities that allow them to learn through play.  Not limiting my lesson plans to basic pre-school curriculum allows children to stretch their    imagination, thus reaching their full potential as well as being able to enter their grade school years at the top of their class.

    Limiting the number of students attending the “Our Playful Academy,” as well as extending our hours, will allow us to become involved in multi-phased lessons, and gain a greater understanding of the subjects presented. I will create a lesson plan that is customized  to your child’s rate and level of learning, making our time together both playful and productive.  Parent input is an important key in this  process, assuring that  your child’s  pre-school experience is everything you are looking for!  Parents are encouraged to join us, as their schedule allows. Through sharing their time and talents with us, they become an active part in their child’s education.
